Aquastream CRX-45/70 Rain/Main Changeover Valve

The Reefe RM1500-2 Rain to Mains Valve is an automatic hydraulically operated mains to rainwater changeover valve - Ideal for rainwater harvesting applications.

The valve switches from mains to tank whenever tank water is being pumped and automatically defaults to mains in the event of a power or pump failure.

Easy to install, this unique valve comes with dual 1" (25mm) outlets allowing for flexibility in domestic and commercial applications and the valve can be installed directly on the outlet of a pump.

Manufactured from nickel plated solid brass, this valve is built for years of trouble-free operation and is WaterMark approved for use in Australia.

IMPORTANT:  Must be used with a float switch on suction lift applications and when used with PRHM and VSRM series pumps.
IMPORTANT NOTE:  If the mains pressure is 400kPa above the normal operating pressure of the pump, the device will not completely isolate the mains water supply. A pressure reduction valve will need to be fitted to reduce the mains pressure prior to the RM1500-2 valve.
