Features & Benefits
- Polyamide Composite Membrane
- Low fouling spiral wound
- Operates at applied pressures of 150psi
- Nominal salt rejection rate - 99.6% (99.4% minimum)
Features & Benefits
Hydranautics ESPA2-LD-4040 series low-pressure reverse osmosis membranes are suited to brackish water and mains water applications.
Manufacured from high quality composite polyamide membrane, these membranes operate at standard operating pressure of 150 psi, while maintaining a typical rejection rate of 99.6% (99.4% minimum)
Combining the latest 'Low Fouling Technology' of thicker feed spacer channel and treated with biofouling and colloidal resistance properties, these membranes offer longer service life while maintaining high rejection rates.
Membrane Dimensions: 3.95x40" (4040)
How an RO membrane works:
The spiral membrane is constructed from one or more membrane envelopes wound around a central collector tube. The pure water (permeate) passes through the membrane in the envelopes and spirals inwards to the collector tube and is diverted to the storage tank.
The waste water (concentrate or brine) carries all the impurities in the water and is discharged to drain.
