Soluscope Endoscope Filtration
Stocking a wide range of compatible water filtration cartridges for Soluscope® Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER), Australian hospitals benefit from our direct-to-healthcare supply of high quality filtration devices at competitive pricing.
Quality pre-filtration cartridges are used to protect and extend the life of the final sterile filter. Generally assembled in a 3-Stage filtration assembly, filtration generally follows the same pattern however, depending on your location in Australia, the filtration system you have may be modified to include extra filtration stages or types to suit the particular water supply quality
Soluscope® Endoscope Reprocessors are typically supplied with a 3-Stage 20" pre-filtration system to remove particulate and bacteria from the water supply.
Typical Filtration Overview
First Stage : This initial filtration element is typically a Polyspun type of cartridge which offer excellent value and remove particulate down to 0.5µm. This primary filter is typically replaced every 3 months and protects the second stage filter from premature loading.
Second Stage : This cartridge element is typically a Pleated Polypropylene type of cartridge which offers near absolute removal of particulate down to 0.2µm. This second stage filter is critical to protect the final stage filter from premature loading.
Third Stage : This cartridge element is typically a Polyethersulfone 0.2µm Absolute rated cartridge meaning that all waterborne bacteria is retained in the filter, providing sterile water to the equipment. This cartridge typically has a 222 sanitary double o-ring connection to ensure no bypass of water past the filter.
